Paco Rangel Valencia was a leader of the Autodefensas, a vigilante group that fought against the Knights Templar Cartel in the Mexican state of Michoacan during the 2010s. In 2015, he helped in the capture of Apo, the seventh town to be taken from the cartel, and he was one of the vigilantes that was featured in the documentary Cartel Land.
