Kenkichi Yamashita (died 1546) was a retainer of the Date clan.
Biography[]
Kenkichi Yamashita was given command of a unit of Yari Ashigaru in the army of Harumune Date during his 1546 winter campaign against the Mogami clan in Ugo Province. Kenkichi was killed in the Battle of Ugo, a very bloody battle that cost the Date over a half of their force but ended in a Date victory.
