Amru'i-Qais

Amru'i-Qais (448-476) was a family member of the Berbers.

Biography[]

Amru'i-Qais was a family member of the ruling house of the Berbers, and commanded an army of Berber troops that fought the Eastern Roman Empire's invading armies in the Sahara, to the far east of the city of Dimmidi. He fought under Abu Ya'fur ibn Alqama, and was killed when the Berber army of Alqama was defeated one time in 476 AD.
