Adarnarseh (331-) was a garrison commander of the Sassanid Empire who married into the House of Sasan by wedding Roxanna, the daughter of Emperor Shapur II of Persia.
Biography[]
Adarnarseh was born in 331 to a Zoroastrian family, and he was a good ambusher and confident commander. However, he had barely any command skills and had no management or influence skills. In 363 AD he married Roxanna, the daughter of Emperor Shapur II of Persia. He became Governor of Ctesiphon, leading from the rear.
